The Ladies Bible Study will meet at 7pm Monday, September 28 at Davey Wilkerson's home. Her address is 216 S. Mill.

Opportunity for Prayer this Week

On the following dates you are invited to a prayer meeting that will be held in the church sanctuary: Wednesday, September 30 from 5-6pm, Thursday, October 1 from 10-11am.

Please submit prayer requests for the Prayer meetings by writing your needs on the tear off portion of your bulletin. Place your requests in the offering plate or give them to a Pastor.

An Adult Bible Study will be starting on Tuesday, September 29th. It will meet from 7-8:30pm at Don and Jody Thrasher's home at 945 S. West St.

The Men's Honorbound will meet for breakfast in the fellowship hall on Saturday, October 3 at 7:30am.

For our Sunday, October 4 evening service we will be attending "A Homecoming Gospel Reunion" concert at the East Richland High School auditorium at 6pm. The concert will feature Southern Illinois' 80-voice Homecoming Gospel Choir, along with many featured soloists and groups, singing your favorite gospel songs and hymns!


 

Practice has begun on a Christmas musical drama involving both the children and adults. If you would like to be a part of the adult choir for this production and are 6th grade and up, please see Ellen Wall for more information. We'd love to have a large choir for this production.


 

For the month of October the adult Sunday School classes will be combined and will meet in the sanctuary. Jim Phelps will be teaching.

Youth News:

See You at the Pole is taking place on Wednesday, September 23. The event gives the students the opportunity to come together and pray for their schools. The High School students will be meeting at 7:00am and the Middle School students will be meeting at 7:30am.

The Youth will be attending Momentum Youth Convention in Springfield, IL on October 30-31. The total cost will be $70 plus money for meals. Any student wanting to attend must be signed up by Wednesday, September 23. See Pastor Nick or Jen for more details.
